Why our work is different
We don’t just paint furniture.
Design isn't the last step. It's every step, and it starts with how a piece works.
A drawer that glides. A door that sits flush. A joint that holds. Those aren't repairs we get out of the way before the design begins; they're design decisions, and they're the ones you'll notice every day for the next thirty years.
We choose pieces for how well they're built and what they could become. What they become keeps evolving as we go, as the piece shows us what's underneath. No two end up the same.

Furniture built to last deserves to last.
We're a husband-and-wife team refinishing antique and vintage furniture in southeastern Minnesota. The pieces we work on were made with craftsmanship and materials that are hard to find today — and we think they've got a lot of life left.
