We weren’t sure if we could apply two different @rubiomonocoatusa OilPlus2C colors side-by-side without bleed-through—but we gave it a shot, and it worked beautifully! This old church pew had two distinct wood species we wanted to showcase. We used ‘Pure’ on the pine to preserve its age and charm, and ‘Dark Oak’ on the trim (which I thought was mahogany, but ChatGPT said it’s fir—go figure!🤷‍♀️) Loving how the contrast brought this piece to life.

This vintage Bassett dresser set got a fresh new look with a two-tone makeover! It was great set to work with, but there was a lot of orange-red oak. (#iykyk ) Stripping, sanding, wood bleach, more sanding, a paint wash, a stain wash…we pulled out all the stops! The creamy paint color (@sherwinwilliams Beachcomber) pairs perfectly with the warm wood tones - so fresh, so crisp, so pretty!

Painted in @valsparpaint Tomcat and finished with a medium brown custom stain over new red oak beadboard, this pair brings the perfect moody-meets-warm vibe.

Loving the contrast of the black with the warm wood tones — classic, bold, and sure to make a statement.
